This website was created to celebrate the amazing design and durability of Buddy l and other pressed steel toys made almost a century ago. I wanted to share pictures of some of my collection and relate the history of these remarkable toys.

Starting in about 1920 there were several manufactures of toys made from pressed steel, these were more durable but at the same time more expensive than the more common tin toys. They have become collector’s items
